Soccer Recap: Union City Find Success

Union City proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Seton Catholic Cardinals 4-3. It was an even better day for Eduin Garcia Velasquez as he scored three goals for his team.

Union City's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Seton Catholic, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Union City and Seton Catholic will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians are set to square off against their familiar foe Centerville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Seton Catholic will challenge rival University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
