It was a good run, but Odessa unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against the Estacado Matadors, falling 69-37. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Bronchos struggled afterwards.

Odessa now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Estacado, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Odessa will host Lake View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Estacado, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jayton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
