Palm Beach Central had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt American Heritage on Thursday. The Broncos put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp 3-0 victory. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Stallions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Palm Beach Central walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-18.

Palm Beach Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Suarez, who had nine digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Palm Beach Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive games.

When it comes to explaining why American Heritage lost, don't look at Daniela Staton. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and four assists. Staton is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Arianna Alves, who had ten assists and four digs.

Palm Beach Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for American Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Palm Beach Central and Royal Palm Beach will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for American Heritage, they will head out to square off against St. John Paul II Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
