Volleyball Recap: Fairfax Falls Short of West Potomac in the Playoffs

Fairfax and West Potomac squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Fairfax had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Wolverines. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Fairfax's loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-9. As for West Potomac, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-11-1.

As of now, neither Fairfax nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
