Calvary Lutheran has gone a perfect 4-0 against Christian Fellowship recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Lions will challenge Christian Fellowship at 5:00 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Calvary Lutheran has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Christian Fellowship will arrive with three straight wins.

It was a proper cat-fight when Calvary Lutheran took on Centralia on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Bella Frates, who had four digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Christian Fellowship made easy work of Prairie Home on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Calvary Lutheran better focus on containing Kaylee Garner and Georgia Cornelius as the pair were huge in Christian Fellowship's win. Garner had 22 digs and two aces, while Cornelius had 12 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Cornelius a new career-high.

Christian Fellowship was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matches.

Calvary Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9-2. As for Christian Fellowship, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's matchup: Calvary Lutheran has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 11 aces per game. However, it's not like Christian Fellowship struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
