Basketball Recap: Hinsdale Takes a Loss

Hinsdale lost against Newmarket back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hinsdale Pacers had to suffer through a 61-20 loss at the hands of the Newmarket Mules. The Pacers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Hinsdale's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Newmarket, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hinsdale will face off against Pittsfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hinsdale is facing Pittsfield at the right time seeing as Pittsfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Newmarket, they will take on Portsmouth Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newmarket's defense has only allowed 17.9 points per game this season, so Portsmouth Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
