Basketball Recap: Dexter Comes Up Short

Dexter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pioneer Pioneers. The Dreadnaughts were probably out for revenge after losing 78-55 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dexter's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pioneer, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Dexter will challenge Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pioneer, they will take on Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
