Basketball Recap: Slidell Beats Pearl River for Their Third Straight Victory + How To Watch

Slidell extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jalen Lucas. The Tigers strolled past the Pearl River Rebels with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 58-41 thanks in part to Lucas, who went 10-for-18 en route to 24 points and seven rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Faciane, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game.

Slidell now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pearl River, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Slidell will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Mandeville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pearl River, they will head out on the road to take on L.W. Higgins at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
