Baseball Recap: Coral Springs Charter Comes Up Short

Coral Springs Charter managed to slip by Western the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Coral Springs Charter Panthers lost 11-1 to the Western Wildcats on Wednesday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Coral Springs Charter got a good showing from Ryan Karbalaieasghar, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Mason Alexander was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Coral Springs Charter and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Western, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
