The Boca Raton Bobcats will venture away from home to face off against the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Boca Raton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Atlantic Christian 23-3 on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bobcats with their most commanding win of the season.
Myah Miller made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). Miller was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Dr. Joaquin Garcia got themselves on the board against Olympic Heights on Thursday, but Olympic Heights never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 15-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the contest before.
The team relied heavily on Ava Johnston, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Zimmerman, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
The victory (which was Boca Raton's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, their record is now 5-3.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Boca Raton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .339. However, it's not like Dr. Joaquin Garcia struggles in that department as they've averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
