Softball Recap: Heritage Christian Comes Up Short

Heritage Christian lost against Highland back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Soraya Chavez, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Heritage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Highland, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian will square off against Whittier Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland, they will face off against Knight at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
