Bull City Prep National posted their biggest win since December 21, 2024 on Saturday. They blew past the Queen City Prep Kings 92-72. Given the Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Kings are ranked 272nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bull City Prep National is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Queen City Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bull City Prep National will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Combine Academy National at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. As for Queen City Prep, they will square off against Salisbury at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Salisbury knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Queen City Prep likes a good challenge.
