Softball Recap: Danville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Danville Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat back in March.

Danville Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, they moved to 9-20 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Danville Christian Academy by a score of 7-1 later that day.
