Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stockdale). They came out on top against the Clovis Cougars by a score of 11-6 on Tuesday. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2019.

Gabriel Borja looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
