Basketball Recap: Stone Comes Up Short

Stone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 35-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wayne County War Eagles. The contest marked the Tomcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Stone's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wayne County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Stone will take on West Marion at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayne County, they will face off against Quitman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Quitman will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wayne County surely won't give up without a fight.
