Basketball Recap: Mt. Markham Comes Up Short

Mt. Markham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 75-67 to the Herkimer Magicians. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Magicians from their previous meeting back in February.

Mt. Markham now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Herkimer, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Markham and Little Falls will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Herkimer will take on Clinton in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
