Volleyball Recap: Sacred Heart of Jesus Find Success

After losing to Pomona Catholic the last time they met, Sacred Heart of Jesus decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Comets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pacers on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Isabella Valdez was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 26 assists and six digs. Those 26 assists gave her a new career-high.

Sacred Heart of Jesus' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pomona Catholic, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Sacred Heart of Jesus and Pomona Catholic will both be playing Lincoln the next time they take the court. The Comets will head out to face the Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Pacers will play them later in the day, at 8:15 p.m.
