Flatirons Academy strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Caliche Buffaloes with a sharp 17-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Bison, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Parker Wilson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Doughty, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Flatirons Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .478. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in 12 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Flatirons Academy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Caliche, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Flatirons Academy and Caliche will both be playing Wiley the next time they take the field. The Buffaloes will head out to face the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bison will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
