Volleyball Recap: Flower Mound Jaguars vs. The Woodlands Highlanders
Flower Mound barely beat The Woodlands the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jaguars blew past the Highlanders 3-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2019.
ALEAH EDMOND paced Flower Mound's offense, picking up 14 kills. EDMOND got some help from HAYDEN CURTIS and her 27 assists. CURTIS was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
Flower Mound has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for The Woodlands, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
Flower Mound didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Birdville on the 16th. As for The Woodlands, they will face off against Grand Oaks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Highlanders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
