Basketball Recap: Summit Charter Skates Past Shining Rock Classical Academy with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Summit Charter's strategy against Shining Rock Classical Academy on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Summit Charter Bears blew the Shining Rock Classical Academy Falcons out of the water with a 57-8 final score. With the Bears ahead 39-3 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Sydney Sinclair had an outrageously good game as she went 10 of 15 on her way to 20 points and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Reeves, who posted 12 points along with seven steals and six boards.

Summit Charter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-10 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 47.7 points. As for Shining Rock Classical Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.
