Chipley entered their tilt with Blountstown on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Blountstown. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 11th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Chipley who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 19-25, 25-12, 23-25, 15-7.

Alaina Finch paced Chipley's offense, picking up 18 kills. Finch got some help from Cheyenne Risinger and her 37 assists. Risinger also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sarayah Hogan, each putting up five.

Chipley's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Blountstown, they dropped their record down to 11-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Chipley will head out to take on Baker at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blountstown, they will host Sneads at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
