While Montclair Kimberley Academy put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Belleville. The Cougars put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won five contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Montclair Kimberley Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Belleville, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Montclair Kimberley Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-0 win against West Caldwell Tech on the 27th. As for Belleville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against NV - Demarest on the 25th.
