The Steiner Dragons will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls at 11:00 a.m. on February 9th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After soaring to 80 points the game before, Steiner were a bit more limited in their game back in January. They were outmatched by Garden on the road and fell 52-21. Steiner was down 44-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Kimberton Waldorf's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Monday after their 17th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Delaware Valley Friends, falling 63-27. Kimberton Waldorf has struggled against Delaware Valley Friends recently, as their matchup last Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Kimberton Waldorf's defeat came about despite a quality game from Martin Rice, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Colton Mailey, who scored six points.
Steiner now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Kimberton Waldorf, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.
