Centennial entered their tilt with Emerson on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Emerson Mavericks a 2-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by exactly two goals.

Ian Matta and Noah Wanzer scored both of Centennial's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-2. As for Emerson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.
