Soccer Recap: Pisgah Takes a Loss

Pisgah lost against St. Andrew's Episcopal back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pisgah Dragons lost 7-0 to the St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints. Considering the last time the Dragons couldn't score was back in October of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Pisgah's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-5. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pisgah will challenge Yazoo County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they will take on South Jones at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Andrew's Episcopal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.
