Volleyball Recap: Rogers Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Rogers had won four straight at home, but on Monday they bumped up to 5-6-2 to make it five. They put the hurt on the Carl Junction Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. This was payback for the Mountaineers, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Rogers can attribute much of their success to Izzi Anderson, who had 16 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Anderson has posted over her last seven matches. Drew Deimel also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

As for Carl Junction, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since October 10, 2024.

Despite the defeat, Carl Junction saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Grace Carrier had nine digs and four assists.

Looking ahead, Rogers will take on Har-Ber at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carl Junction, they will square off against Logan-Rogersville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
