Basketball Recap: Centerville Victorious

Centerville won the last time they faced Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Big Reds/Redettes walked away with a 65-55 victory over the Rockets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Big Reds/Redettes.

Centerville's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Centerville will venture away from home to face off against Davis County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Big Reds/Redettes will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 74.24 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, they will head out to take on Albia at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will need to watch out since the Blue Demons have now posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.
