It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walsingham Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the New Covenant Gryphons on Monday, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, Walsingham Academy's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Walsingham Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for New Covenant, their win bumped their record up to 15-4-1.

Walsingham Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Covenant, they will face off against Grace Christian on Thursday. Grace Christian's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
