Football Recap: Brady Ruark Key Part of Team Effort in Panthers Win + How To Watch

After only eight points in their last matchup, Spring Garden made sure to put some points up on the board against Gaylesville on Friday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 34-8 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spring Garden to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brady Ruark, who rushed for 116 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. Ruark is becoming a predictor of the Panthers' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Missie Bostick was another key player, rushing for 99 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Spring Garden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 259 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Spring Garden's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Gaylesville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
