Soccer Recap: Antigo Comes Up Short

Antigo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Medford Raiders. Antigo were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Medford earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Antigo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Medford, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10-1.

Looking ahead, Antigo will square off against Waupaca at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Medford, they will face off against Rhinelander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
