Softball Recap: Joliet West Comes Up Short

Joliet West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Plainfield North, falling 7-0. Surprisingly, this marked Joliet West's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Joliet West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Plainfield North, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Joliet West will take on rival Yorkville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Plainfield North is set to face off against their familiar foe Plainfield East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
