Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Hill). They blew past the Ferndale Yellow Jackets 65-44 on Monday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-18.

Ferndale's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deajah Chatman, who posted 16 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Abby Barley was another key player, putting up 14 points and seven rebounds.

Fort Hill's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Ferndale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.

Coming up, Fort Hill will head out on the road to square off against Northern Garrett at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ferndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
