Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Papermakers vs. Appleton North Lightning
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Kimberly couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Appleton North Lightning on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Lightning this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss two weeks ago.
Alex Krause paced Kimberly's offense, picking up 17 kills. Krause got some help from Blake Zielinski and his 43 assists. Finally, Krause was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.
