Volleyball Recap: El Modena Takes a Loss

El Modena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Sonora Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vanguards of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

El Modena's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Sonora, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.

Coming up, El Modena will welcome Whitney at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sonora, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Canyon on the 15th.
