Basketball Recap: Northside - Pinetown Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Northside - Pinetown hadn't done well against Pamlico County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Northside - Pinetown Panthers walked away with a 71-64 victory over the Pamlico County Hurricanes. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now won three in a row.

Northside - Pinetown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Malachi Moore led the charge by going 9-for-15 on his way to 25 points. What's more, Moore also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Max Vansant was another key player, going 6-for-11 en route to 14 points and seven steals.

Northside - Pinetown smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.
