Softball Recap: Minooka Indians vs. West Aurora Blackhawks

Minooka put the finishing touches on their 17th blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the West Aurora Blackhawks an 11-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Minooka sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Minooka got a massive performance out of Madison Kelly, who went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Gracie Anderson was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI.

Minooka's victory bumped their record up to 27-3-1. As for West Aurora, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minooka will square off against Plainfield North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Aurora, they will head out on the road to challenge Plainfield South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
