Volleyball Recap: West Babylon Takes a Loss

West Babylon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Smithtown East Bulls, falling 3-0.

West Babylon was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-23.

West Babylon's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Smithtown East, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-1-3.

Coincidentally, West Babylon and Smithtown East will both be playing Smithtown West the next time they take the court. The Bulls will head out to face Smithtown West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on October 10.
