Burley kept up with Wood River until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Bobcats. Considering Wood River have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Burley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mateo De La Torre, Alberto Romo, Hayden Gvozdas, and Vladimir Gomez.

Wood River's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four contests. As for Burley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wood River will face off against Minico at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burley, they will venture away from home to square off against Twin Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Burley will need to watch out since Twin Falls have now posted at least four goals in their last three games.
