Softball Recap: King City Mustangs vs. Soledad Aztecs

King City won the last time they faced Soledad and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Aztecs by a score of 11-6. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Alizah Carrillo made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. Carrillo was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
