Soccer Recap: Mooseheart Takes a Loss

Mooseheart managed to keep up with Christian Liberty until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Red Ramblers lost 4-1 to the Chargers. Mooseheart were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Christian Liberty earlier this season, when they won 4-2.

Mooseheart's goal came courtesy of Evan Zeon, which was the first he's scored this season.

Mooseheart has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Christian Liberty, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mooseheart will head out to challenge Rickover Naval at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian Liberty, they will venture away from home to square off against Schaumburg Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Schaumburg Christian's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
