 Louisville's game  on Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bryan Bears by a score of  12-8.
  Alex Sorensen tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Nik Sorensen and  Sayler Rhodes did most of the damage at the plate:  Sorensen  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-5, while  Rhodes  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.  Dayton Carlson was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-4.
 On Bryan's side,  Raymond Coffey was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eddie Chavez, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Bryan was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .457. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Louisville only posted a  batting average of  .242.
 Louisville's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Bryan, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record  this season.
 Louisville will head out on the road to  challenge  Seward at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Bryan, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Gretna at 4:30  p.m. Bryan is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season.
