Basketball Recap: St. Patrick Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mason County, St. Patrick was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 60-50 win over the Covington Latin Trojans. The victory was some much needed relief for the Saints as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

St. Patrick's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-11. As for Covington Latin, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

St. Patrick will head out on the road to take on Pendleton County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covington Latin, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oyler at 2:00 p.m. on February 1st.
