Recap: Okmulgee Bulldogs vs. Morris Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to The Okmulgee Bulldogs, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 20-19 to Morris. Okmulgee has not had much luck with Morris recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Trey Daniels, who rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Jaylen Zackery got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Okmulgee's loss was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 0-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.8 points per game. As for Morris, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.
Okmulgee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Morris also has no future games currently scheduled.
