Volleyball Game Preview: Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves vs. Harrison Raiders

The Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves will square off against the Harrison Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory turned things around against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Trojans. That looming 3-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Braves yet this season.

The win didn't come easy: Indianapolis Bishop Chatard scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 29-27, 22-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Harrison faced Guerin Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Harrison's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7.
