Baseball Recap: Immanuel Gets the Win

Immanuel is still undefeated this season after their game against Fresno on Friday, but Fresno came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Immanuel Eagles came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Fresno Warriors.

Lucas Pettitt was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kelton Eastham, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Immanuel's record is now 5-0. As for Fresno, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Immanuel will take on Coalinga in a tournament on Tuesday. Immanuel will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. Fresno will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Arvin at 4:00 p.m. on March 17th.
