Edward Williams commands the offense for Sharks win

Recap: Capital Prep Harbor Sharks vs. Hopkins Hilltoppers

The Capital Prep Harbor Sharks posted their biggest win since December 27, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on Hopkins with a sharp 67-46 victory. Capital Prep Harbor's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Capital Prep Harbor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Edward Williams, who scored 30 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Jacob Henderson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and six steals.

The victory makes it two in a row for Capital Prep Harbor and bumps their season record up to 15-3. As for Hopkins, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Capital Prep Harbor on the road again on Monday and play against Eagle Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. Eagle Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Hopkins, they will head out on the road to face off against Rye Country Day at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
