Forest Hill is 6-1 against Suncoast since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons will head out to challenge the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. Forest Hill's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four games, but Thursday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Forest Hill is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Santaluces on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Chiefs. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Chiefs are ranked 210th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Suncoast, who bounced back after a loss on the road on October 3rd. They came out on top against Northeast by a score of 28-18 on Thursday.

One reason for the win was Suncoast's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Thomas Horner refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. He was another major factor on D, picking up 1.5 sacks, forcing one fumble, and making six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Forest Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Suncoast, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-6.

Forest Hill took their victory against Suncoast when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 37-14 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Chargers' Owen Galardi, who rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and one score.
