Recap: Carroll Academy Jaguars vs. Trinity Christian Academy Lions
This season hasn't been kind to the Carroll Academy Jaguars, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They were dealt a 79-26 defeat at the hands of Trinity Christian Academy on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carroll Academy in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.
Trinity Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Lake Helton, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Helton has scored all season. Kaleb Williams was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Carroll Academy dropped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Fayette Academy the next time they take the court. Carroll Academy will head out to face the Vikings at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
