Volleyball Recap: McClatchy Comes Up Short

McClatchy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the West Park Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.

McClatchy's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for West Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McClatchy will face off against rival Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Park is set to take on their familiar foe Antelope at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
