Belton waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Winnetonka Griffins as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

While Belton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-22.

Zane Richard paced Belton's offense, picking up seven kills. Richard got some help from Josue Hinojos and his 22 assists. Hinojos also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Cayden Leavitt, racking up four apiece.

Belton pushed their record up to 15-11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Winnetonka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Looking ahead, Belton will be playing in front of their home fans against Grain Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winnetonka, they will take on Grandview in a tournament on Thursday.
